We talk a lot about personal and professional projects when it comes to describing our services, because we serve both individuals and small businesses/organizations.
Personal projects involve work that is important to the individual, but isn’t related to their job or to a business. (For example, editing a client’s novel would be a personal project.) Professional projects refer to work being done to benefit a business or organization, which can include writing copy for a website, managing social media pages, or editing existing promotional materials.
While there is a difference in the type of projects we take on, our approach doesn’t change drastically from project to project! We will still devote the necessary time and effort to your project whether it is personal or professional, but the distinction helps us to plan out our next steps.
