Question: My business or organization recently received something special, such as a news article feature, an award, or a new certification. Is it a good idea to share this on social media, or would that come off as self aggrandizing?

Answer: You should absolutely share it! All accomplishments should be celebrated, and there is certainly a way to do so without coming across as bragging. If you have a link to the article or press release or a photo of the award or certificate, consider adding those to a post with a few sentences of explanation and thanks. If the organization or publication who featured you is on social media, it’s also a good idea to tag them in the post, so they can be aware of your gratitude and excitement.
