Question: I see a lot of Reels when I open up Instagram, and I hear they’re very popular. Are Reels something that I should be making to advertise my business or organization?

Answer: This is a question that can be answered more deeply through this blog post. The short answer? It all depends on your video editing skills and your ability to pick up things quickly on social media. If you’ve been using Instagram for a while and you feel confident about what makes a strong Reel versus a not-so-effective Reel, then go for it! Like any feature of social media, making Reels might take some trial and error, but there’s no reason why you can’t be successful at them with a little work!

However, if you’re just starting out on Instagram and/or don’t have a lot of experience with editing videos, it might be worth waiting a bit before diving into making Reels. While Reels can be an effective way to market on Instagram, they aren’t the only way, and if you try to learn everything about them all at once, you might find yourself overwhelmed and your time might be better spent in other marketing endeavors.
