New Year, New Workshops: What’s Changed for 2026

You might remember our online Workshops – we’ve been offering them since 2020! In the years since, our Workshops have evolved, from their subject matter to when they’re offered. But some things have remained the same over the years as well – here’s a refresher on our Workshops, and an update on the new improvements for 2026!

Staying the Same: Most Topics

While we have retired some of our Workshops for 2026, the core subject of our Workshops has always been – and will continue to be – social media for small businesses and organizations. Workshops remain a space where community leaders and business owners can learn some of the details of Facebook and Instagram, and use that knowledge for promotion and communication. Expect to continue learning about social media through our Workshops into 2026 and beyond.

Switching Up: Duration

Previously, our Workshops stretched into several hours. While they included a lot of helpful information, we have decided that this length is not sustainable, nor is it realistic for many busy business owners. Therefore, we’ve shortened our Workshops to run for just under 45 minutes each. This enables us to stick to the basics and impart the most essential information (while still retaining time for questions at the end).

Staying the Same: Online Format

One thing that has always been true of our Workshops is their online setting. We’ve always offered these learning sessions remotely, so that participants can access them from anywhere. This convenient option makes it that much easier to learn, especially since our Workshops have traditionally been held in lecture format, with time for Q&A at the end. All participants have to do is log on, listen, and learn!

Switching Up: Focus on Actionable Takeaways

Our Workshops have always included practical tips for social media marketing, but in 2026, they will have a renewed focus on actions that participants can take in their own businesses and organizations. This specific focus will ensure that participants get the most out of their time with us, and can continue to learn and develop their skills long after the Workshop has concluded.

Staying the Same: An Emphasis on Learning

Teaching new skills and empowering small business owners is a core pillar of our Workshops, and it will remain so this year and in years to come. That also means we at Wreath Writing and Marketing Services welcome your feedback and suggestions. Each participant will receive a survey at the conclusion of their Workshop to gauge satisfaction and things we can improve on, and we also welcome any and all questions. Please email wreathwritingandmarketing@gmail.com if you have any questions about a Workshop or an idea for a Workshop that you would like to see!
