An audit of your business’ or organization’s social media can do two things: it can help inspire you with older content that you might be able to reuse, and it can give you statistics (ex. number of Likes, number of comments, new followers, etc.) that you can use to better generate new content.
For this action item, choose one social media platform to go through and take a look at all of your posts from the last year or two, depending on how much time you have. You can go in depth and record the statistics and takeaways from each post, or you can simply write down some of the more general takeaways you notice. Which posts performed well, and which posts didn’t? What kinds of images seem to be effective? Are there posts with great text or visuals that you could reuse now? All of these are good questions to get you started!
